📍On July 9, 2025, at the Amagasaki City Chuo-kita Lifelong Learning Plaza, students from ZERO Japanese Language School participated in the event “Welcome Vietnamese Mothers”.
(Co-hosted by: Amagasaki City Chuo Regional Division & Nanbu Public Health Division / Supported by: Japan-Vietnam Business Association & Omukai-san Project)
This was the first time for the students to experience Nagashi Somen (flowing noodles), and they truly enjoyed it. Eating cold somen noodles on a hot summer day was refreshing and became a wonderful memory.
They also had the opportunity to interact with local Japanese residents as well as Vietnamese people living in Amagasaki, which helped them deepen their understanding of daily life and local culture. Everyone was very kind, sharing their life experiences, making it a valuable time for the students.
The students said: “We definitely want to join again next time!” and “We want to get more involved in community activities!”, showing their excitement and high expectations for future cultural exchanges ✨
